MAC Style Blush Review!

Hey guys!

So today I thought I would review my favourite blush for you all! It's Style by MAC and it is part of their permanent line of blushes which retail for €22.50 each.

On MAC's website, they describe it as a 'coral peach with gold pearl'
This describes it perfectly and it is definitely a colour that would suit all skin tones. The gold shimmer creates a lovely warm glow which makes the skin look luminous! This shade is an all rounder as it works for all seasons of the year in my opinion.

I really like the formula as it doesn't look cakey or over powdery on the skin which is always a good thing and it isn't too shimmery so as to make you look like a certain Mr Edward (or Bella as we can now say!) Cullen!

Overall I think this is a brilliant blush and I use it all the time making the expensive price tag that tiny bit more bearable! I really recommend it :)

Hey guys! So today I'm going to do a TAG! As it's well and truly Autumn, I thought I would do the I <3 Fall TAG. I do really love Autumn, the fashion, the makeup and the weather is just so pretty! I think that Autumn is my favourite season :)

Now onto the TAG!

1) Favourite Fall Lip Product: My favourite lip product to use in the Fall is my Revlon Lip Pencil in Plum. I wouldn't use it everyday but if I am going somewhere special, I might put it on as a dark pop of colour. To me, dark berry colors just scream Fall and Autumn so I really love it, and this lip pencil isn't too dark for me either which I love!

2) Favourite Fall Nail Polish: I love glittery polishes for Fall! My favourite is a nice red nail with red glitter polish layered on my ring finger. I think it's very a cozy looking (if nail polish can be cozy! hahah )   nail polish look. Barry M has a really good red glitter polish.
I couldn't find the red glittery polish so here is the same one but in silver!

3) Favourite Starbucks Fall Drink: I have been absolutely LOVING the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate! I order a non- fat Grande Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate with whip :) It sounds gross with grains of salt on top of the whipped cream but it's actually delicious!! I really recommend it!

4) Favourite Fall Candle: I actually don't burn a lot of candles but I really like the berry scented ones from IKEA. I think they smell really nice and seasonal. They give a room a lovely atmosphere! I know it's not very Fall-esque but I actually like the Yankee Christmas Cupcake candle! haha :) I'll have to wait for the I <3 Winter TAG for that one!

5) Favourite Fall Scarf/ Accessory: I love my taupe woolly snood from Penneys. I got this for €4 about 3 years ago and it makes a comeback every Fall/ Winter! It's so snuggly and goes with everything.. pretty and practical! ;)

6) Haunted House, Haunted Hay Ride, or Haunted Corn Maze: To be honest, I haven't been to any of these things! Corn mazes etc. are more of an American thing and we don't have them in Ireland (well I haven't seen any!)

7) Favourite Halloween Movie: I love the Halloweentown movies that they show on Disney Channel every year! I sound like such a child and I haven't seen them for a few years but if I see them on this year I'll definitely watch them! I loved them so much when I was younger!

8) Favourite Candy To Eat On Halloween: I love, love, love the Marks & Spencer's Halloween sweets that they bring out every year... their chocolate is amazing <3

 9) What are you dressing up as for Halloween this year: I think I might be Minnie Mouse but I'm not 100% sure yet! I have a Minnie Mouse Halloween Tutorial here! I'll either be Minnie Mouse or a ballerina!

10) What is your favourite thing about Fall: I love the Fall fashion! The cozy knits, riding boots, burgundy, navy, forest green, it's all gorgeous! I also like the makeup trends associated with Fall! I like the berry lips... so pretty!

So that is my I <3 Fall TAG! I hope you enjoy and I'll talk to you guys later! xoxo, E

And here are my Rudolph slippers! One Rudolph fell off though :'(

Hey Guys! Long time no blog :)

So I thought I would do my favorites for the month of September seeing as it's nearly over... can't believe I've been back at school for over a month! :o So here are my beauty favourites along with some non beauty favorites ;)

So first up I have my Makeup items:

- I have been loving my MAC Select Cover Up Concealer in NC20. This has been my staple concealer for about 2 years now and I haven't run out of my first tube yet! It's great for covering up my dark circles without looking cakey and although the formula is a bit drying on my already dry skin, if you apply a moisturizer to your face first, it's fine!

-My other beauty staple that I use every day is my MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder in NC40. This is such a good powder and looks great with the concealer! I have gone through 4 of these powders, and I have been wearing them for 2 years so they last roughly for 6 months.. not too shabby! I use this more for a bit of colour rather than for coverage, but it's good at setting BB Cream.

-My favorite mascara this month has been a combination of MAC False Lashes Extreme Black Mascara and No7 Intense Volume Mascara. I would usually just wear the MAC one for everyday but if I was going somewhere special I would layer the No7 mascara on top of it for added volume and length.

- My favourite blush as you all probably know is my Essence Souffle Touch Blush in Frozen Strawberry. I love this for a natural flush of pink on the cheeks. The blush is really buildable so you can apply as much as you like without it applying weirdly!

- I have been loving Bourjois Delice de Pudre Highlighting Powder this month as well. It's so pretty when put on top of the cheek bones but also put in the inner corners and on the brow bone to create a wide- eyed effect. It smells AMAZING too!

Next on to hair products!

- L'Oreal Kids Sweet Pear Tangle Tamer (in a limited edition bottle!) is amazing! I have already gone through a bottle of this! It's so good for spraying on wet hair and then combing it out. It detangles my hair, my hair gets very tangly! :( But it removes all the tangles so yay!

- I've also been loving Redken Glass Look 01 Serum. It's basically a hair oil so after I've detangled my hair, I apply a pea sized about of this on my fingers and run that through my hair. It makes my hair so shiny and soft, I'm definitely going to repurchase this!

Now for my non- beauty faves!

- I love love love my Swatch mint green wraparound watch! I got this in Lanzarote and I have worn it everyday since! It is so pretty and mint is my favourite colour so it goes with all of my clothes too :)

- And finally, I love this hair bobbin from H&M! It's so cute with a little gold metal bow on it, it makes a simple ponytail look so pretty and adorable <3

That's it guys! I hope you've enjoyed these favourites and don't forget to check out my Youtube channel as I've started my Halloween tutorials!!

Enjoy, xoxo, E

Mini Forever21, Lush and Boots Haul!

Hey guys! So yesterday I went to town with my friends for a bit of retail therapy and I picked up a few things that I thought I would show to you.

Forever 21:

I had a voucher for Forever 21 so I got these gorgeous pumpkin colored lace shorts in the sale section for only €13.99! I have been on the hunt for a pair of lace shorts ever since I saw MacBarbie07's video on how to wear them! These shorts fit perfectly and I know that I will get a lot of wear out of them.

Every sale item in F21 is Buy One Get One Free at the moment but I didn't really see anything I liked. I spotted this amazing pair of high waisted denim cut-offs that looked vintage and just as I walked towards them to pick them up, another girl picked them up and walked over to the cash register! :( So in the end I settled for this cute orange t-shirt that has some rips on it. This is so cute paired with cuffed jeans and wedges! It would have only cost €7.99 but I got it for free of course!

I also got a couple of pairs of earrings. I got these really pretty gold leopards and in the same pack I got black jewel earrings which I love. That pack cost €3.90. I also got a pair of gold crystal cross studs which cost €1.90.

I love Lush so much! If the smell of the shop alone isn't good enough for you, the products are amazing and are all natural too. I was looking for a solid shampoo after I read a review about the shampoo bars on Leanne Woodfull's blog. She raved about the Seanik bar which has sea salt in it to amp up volume in your hair and the lady in the shop also recommended it for dry hair. I am going to test run this tonight so hopefully I will like the results! The Seanik bar cost €7.90 and they are equal to 3 bottles of shampoo, so bargain! hah :)

I also bought the Jungle solid conditioner, also recommended for dry hair. For €3.95, this bar is meant to revive your dry hair and it's full of fruit which will restore nutrients in your hair. Let me know if you would like to see a review on the Lush products when I have used them for a while!

I had read a review about the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains on Fleur De Force's website and they sounded amazing! They are a dupe of Clinique's Chubby Sticks but with the added bonus of the Revlon Balms being a stain too. I got the stain in Lovestruck, a hot pink color that Emma Stone wears in the ad campaign. They were on an introductory offer and cost €8.20 but will cost €11.20 in the future. The stain lasts for ages and it smells lovely and minty!

Swatch is the outermost swatch on the left!

I availed of the 3 for 2 offer on Maybelline products and I purchased a Color Tattoo eyeshadow in Permanent Taupe, a matte medium toned brown(€7.49), A Popstick in Citrus Slice(€10.89), which bizarrely comes up pink on the lips!, and a Master Drama Kohl Eyeliner in Black( around €6). This is most pigmented liner I have ever seen, it feels almost like a gel and it doesn't smudge at all. You barely have to touch the pencil off your eye for color payoff!

Swatch is the outermost swatch on the left... why is it pink?? haha I still like it though!

THE most pigmented eyeliner ever!

I hope you liked this haul! Oh and a quick update, I will now be uploading videos 2-3 times a week so keep your eyes put for them! Enjoy xoxo

NYX Jumbo Pencils...

Hey guys!

Today I thought I would do a quick review for you. I recently bought a new NYX Jumbo Pencil and I love them so much that I thought I would share my thoughts on them. The 2 NYXJPs I have are in Milk and Cottage Cheese.

Milk is probably the most well known of the pencils. It is a vibrant creamy white color that can be used for any eyeshadow look. You can't get the pencils in Ireland so my sister bought me the pencil in Milk for my birthday off of Ebay last year. (Click here for a link to a NYX Jumbo Pencil on Ebay!) I love it and I have used it so much!

On bottom- Milk direct swatch
The texture of the pencils are lovely. They are really creamy and soft and they have an almost slightly sticky feel that help eyeshadows adhere to the eyelid. What I love about the Milk is how it makes eyeshadows that may not be very pigmented become much more vibrant. It makes you get more bang for your buck as my mom says haha :)

I bought my second pencil in Lanzarote. It's in the shade Cottage Cheese. It is a lovely color that is a white as well but has a pearly finish as opposed to the matte finish of Milk. CC is not as sticky as Milk so although you could still put another color on top, I think Milk is better as a base. Cottage Cheese is really pretty all over the lid with a medium toned brown in the crease.

That's my mini review on the NYX Jumbo Pencils! I hope you enjoyed and if you want to make the pictures bigger, just click on them! Please leave any video requests or blog requests in the comment section! :)

Enjoy xoxo
