Rimmel Scandaleyes Show Off Review!

Hey guys!

So today I'm going to be reviewing a mascara that I bought just before the New Year, Rimmel's Scandaleyes Show Off mascara. The wand has been compared to Benefits They're Real in respect to the ball shape at the top. I have never been a fan of plastic wands as the bristles poke my eye, I'm not sure if this happens to everyone, or if I just have a sensitive waterline and tight line? But I had heard a few good things about this mascara so I decided to give it a try. The fact that it was on special offer for €5.99 in Boots didn't hurt either!

I didn't like the original Scandaleyes mascara as the wand was just too massive and most of the mascara ended up on my eyelid, rather than my eyelashes! I do however like the Show Off version despite the plastic wand. The formula is really black which I love in a mascara. It volumises my eyelashes and with enough coats, adds great length. I have been getting compliments on my eyelashes which is always a plus! ;) I haven't really found much of a use for the ball at the top of the wand yet, but it doesn't take away from the mascara as a whole so it doesn't bother me! I occasionally use it on my bottom lashes just to try it out, but it doesn't make any spectacular difference as opposed to using the regular end of the wand.

I usually wear at least three coats of mascara. My eyelashes are something I really focus on, and I feel like this mascara draws attention to them. I would recommend this mascara, and I think it is still on special offer in Boots, so I would snap it up now!

I hope you liked this post, please leave any blog requests below, I really appreciate it!

Hypnotic Nails!

Hey guys!

I thought I would do a little blog post about the nail varnish I'm wearing today, Topshop's Hypnotic. My sister got this in the Topshop sale for €4 and I think it's gorgeous!

The nail varnish is a duo chrome polish with undertones of pink, green and purple. So pretty! Having read other reviews about it, the nail polish seems to be fairly chip- resistant which is brilliant, but this is the first day I have worn it so I can't say for certain! I am going to my dance class tomorrow though so I'll see if it's up to the challenge! ;)
It dries very smoothly (If that makes sense!) and looks lovely on the nail. I tested some Mattifying topcoat (from Rimmel) on my ring finger, and I have to say, I really like it!

Overall this is a beautiful nail varnish that I will be wearing all year round, if my sister doesn't mind!

Oh, and do you like my new light- up vanity mirror by No7? I bought it in Boots on sale for €24.99, so I could try out new lighting for my videos :) Hopefully you'll see it's effects in future videos!

That's all for now, I hope you enjoyed, I loved taking the photos for this post <3

You can see the gorgeous duo chrome effect in this picture <3
