Hey Guys!

I am going to review one of Bourjois' new offerings for you today. Their infamous Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder (the one that looks and smells like chocolate!) has resulted in two new products being born, the Bronzing BB Cream and the Bronzing Primer. I picked up the BB Cream for €8.99 on an introductory offer in Boots. The usual price for both products is €13.99.

The packaging is glass with a turquoise cap and a handy pump. The packaging is really summery to me for some reason, and I love when face products have pumps as it is much more hygienic and handy.  The packaging tells us of the 8 things the BB Cream promises to do, including giving us 16 hour moisturisation, SPF 15, and a healthy glow, all of which sold me on this product!

There is only one shade; Universal, which I found quite odd, but sure enough it blended right into my, my sister and my cousin's skin, and we are all different skin tones.

The BB Cream blended in!

Now onto the product itself. I really love this BB Cream, not only because of the delicious chocolate scent (yum) but because of the lovely glow it gives my skin. It is matte, yet still gives the much- loved 'dewy' finish. I have dry skin and I find that this is really moisturising and doesn't go patchy on any dry areas. I don't even wear a powder with this BB Cream but it stays in place all day. I love how it blends perfectly into my skin while still giving a bronzed look. How does it do that?? It's like magic! Haha ;)

Before BB Cream

After BB Cream

It feels really light on the skin, which is perfect for summer time. I like to wear this if I'm going out as recently I have just been wearing mascara (Maybelline The Rocket for those of you wondering!) and it covers up my dark circles and just brightens up my entire face. I cannot recommend this BB Cream enough!

I hope you liked this review, coming soon is a review of the new Benefit Stay Flawless 15 hour Primer which I received a while ago, so stay tuned!

See you guys soon,

Emma xoxo

Hey guys!

Today I'm going to show you my new favourite nail polish which was a birthday gift from two of my friends. It is the Chanel nail polish in the shade Azure. It is from the new Summer 2013 Collection featuring three new nail polishes, lipglosses and the coloured mascaras. The collection is inspired by the beautiful colours of butterflies.

I love this nail polish so much, it is so pigmented- 2 coats and completely opaque. I am lazy and almost never apply a top coat, but without a topcoat, this polish lasted for 5 days with absolutely no chips! How crazy is that?! It is duochrome and looks green in some lights and blue in others, so so pretty! I feel like a mermaid when I wear it haha :)

So no chips, perfectly opaque and makes me feel like a mermaid, what more could you want in a nail polish? The Chanel Azure nail polish retails for €21 and can be bought in Debenhams, Boots and Brown Thomas.

I hope you guys liked this post,

xoxo, Emma

Hey guys!

I recently went to the Ciate Pop- Up shop in BT2 on Grafton St. as I saw they were doing free demos of the new Chalkboard Manicure. The Chalkboard Manicure was designed by the brand's owner and consists of a matte black 'chalkboard' nail, which you can doodle on to your hearts content with the included chalk pens. You then lock in your designs with the Mattnificent Top Coat or wipe the design off with water and a cloth and start again.

A sneaky pic my sister took of me!

The lady who did my nails talked me through the process and when it came to the doodling, she asked if I had any designs in mind, to which I answered no, so she went crazy! She drew polka dots, daisies, an eye, stripes and bows, a different design on each of my nails. I loved the look of them, they look really different!

Unfortunately, they didn't last very long and chipped within a day, and not just a tiny chip, but a big chip.

The kit retails at €29 and includes the matte black chalkboard polish, 4 chalk pens (white, blue, neon pink and yellow) and the Mattnificent Top Coat, as well as a little book chock full of inspiration. I personally wouldn't buy this kit purely because it is not within my budget, but for a free manicure, it was alright!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and I will chat to you soon!

Party OOTD!

Hi guys! I'm going to do a post that's a bit different today, an outfit of the day from an 18th birthday party I went to at the weekend.

I wore this crop top from H&M which I featured in a recent haul.

My skirt is also from H&M and I featured this in my last video. It has this gorgeous neon tribal print and two little zippers. I love it!

My statement necklace is from H&M... are you sensing a theme here? ;) It added the perfect pop of colour to my black top. My heels are from Miss Selfridge.

My makeup was a little bit smokey, I wore MAC paintpot in Bare Study all over the lid topped with an orange iridescant loose eyeshadow from Inglot. In my crease I wore Darkhorse from my NAKED palette in the crease, and then Creep in the outer corner. I wore my Essence Oz Highlighter, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder, Maybelline The Rocket mascara and Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eyeliner in Zero. I also tried my new Benefit Stay Flawless 15 hour primer under my concealer, and I shall be reviewing that soon! On my lips I wore Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick.

The best pic I could find of my makeup!
That is all my friends, I threw my hair up into a ponytail and had a great time dancing with my friends, a great way to start the summer <3
