Blank Canvas Cosmetics F23 Pointed Tip Face Brush

Hi Guys!

Following up on yesterday's post, here is my review on the Blank Canvas Cosmetics F23 Pointed Tip Face Brush. The brush is 100% vegan (woo!) and is made with synthetic fibres. The brush is ideal for  applying foundation, concealer, cream products or mineral foundations etc. It can also be used to apply blush and for contouring. Talk about a multi- tasker!

The pointed tip really allows you to get into all the little nooks and crannies like around your nose and under the eye area. The fibres are densely packed, leaving you with flawless finish.

I find that with densely packed fibres, they absorb less product making them more economical, so yay for that! This brush does not shed, something I really dislike in a brush, no one likes random hairs on their face!

Overall the brush is brilliant. The sleek black handle is gorgeousIt costs €13.99, a bargain if you ask me! Click here to buy it.
I hope you enjoyed this review, let me know what other blog posts you would like to see from me,
Love, Emma xoxo

Blank Canvas Cosmetics Makeup Brush Set

Hi Guys!

Today I will be showing you this gorgeous set of brushes which I was kindly sent by the people over at Blank Canvas Cosmetics. Blank Canvas Cosmetics are a great online company that sell really high- quality makeup brushes, sponges and makeup palettes for very reasonable prices. I was sent the Double Ended Eyebrush Set and the F23 Pointed Tip Face Brush to review.

The brushes are excellent quality, very soft, and blend well.

The set included the Double Ended Pencil/ Flat Shader Brush (E23/E24). The Pencil Brush is small and tapered with densely packed natural hair. It can be used for smudging liner or shadow beneath the eyes or along the lash line. This brush was the perfect size for me to apply eyeshadow beneath my eyes to add drama to my look.

E23
The Flat Shader Brush is perfect for applying eyeshadow all over the lid. It really picks up the colour and packs it on well. It is also suitable for use with cream products, but as of yet, I have not used it with any cream shadows.

My favourite brush, the Blending Duo (E25/E26) are so soft and fluffy, brilliant for blending out colour to give a smoked, soft look. The E25 is slightly larger so is great for adding the finishing touches to your look while the E26 is good for applying and lightly blending out crease colours.

E25

E26
The E27/E28 Double Ended Mini Detailer/ Eyeliner brush is a great multi- tasker brush. The mini detailer is suitable for applying inner- corner highlight, brow bone highlight, applying colour under the lower lashes or lightly blending crease colours. It is such a cute, soft little brush!

E27
The E28 liner brush is a synthetic fibre brush with a precise tip for applying cream or gel eyeliners. It is great for creating thin lines and can be used to build it up to make a thicker, more dramatic line.

E28

Another of my favourites is the Double Ended Tapered Crease Blender/ Smudger (E32/E33). The tapered crease blender is another great brush for blending out harsh lines of eyeshadow. It is gorgeously soft, made from goat hair, and does not tug on the eye at all.

E32

The E33 brush is small and very dense, perfect for packing on a hit of colour. I use it to apply eyeshadow all over the lid, but it is also great for brow bone highlights, and smudging out eyeliner, eyeshadow and can be used with cream, gel and powder products.

E33
The final brush in the set is the Double Ended Brow/Spoolie Brush. The brow brush is angled, perfect for applying powder or gel products to the brows to thicken them, fill in sparse areas or to darken them.

Eyebrow Brush
The Spoolie brush is a classic brush used to brush out the brows to distribute product evenly.

This set also comes with a handy black travel case with a place for each brush.

This post has been very long, so I will do a separate post featuring the wonderful F23 brush, so keep an eye out for that!

Don't forget to check out Blank Canvas Cosmetics' website where you can purchase these brushes as a set or individually. I would really recommend these brushes, especially as the price is so reasonable. To see these brushes in action, check out my new video which will go live today or tomorrow where I use the brushes to create a gorgeous Lily Collins inspired makeup look.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post. Thank you again Blank Canvas Cosmetics!

Love, Emma xoxo
