Mother's Day Gift Guide

Hey Guys!

I was recently contacted by Rachel Dalton Communications in regards to putting together a little Mother's Day Gift Guide. With the day fast approaching (March 15th, put it in your diary!) I thought this was a great idea, so here are a few things you could gift to the motherly figure in your life.

The Ol' Reliable Flowers Option:  An oldie but a goodie, my mom loves receiving a big bunch of flowers any day of the week so I will definitely be stopping by a supermarket to pick her up a bouquet come Mother's Day.

Pampering Essentials: I'm pretty sure most mothers enjoy a bit of pampering, so whether you decide to go all out with a voucher for a spa, or you want to pick up some at-home beauty pampering bits, you are sure to put a smile on a loved one's face. Two great products for at-home pampering are Emjoi's Micro Pedi * and Micro Nail*. I tried out the Micro Nail* and my nails literally shine like glass! Topped with a bit of cuticle oil, maybe a French mani and a good glass of vino, I know my mom would be in her element. The Micro Pedi* is one of those things that you wouldn't ask for as a gift, but you would be delighted to receive one. My mom tested this out and she loves it!

Get Crafty: Giving your mom something you made will always be somewhat nostalgic for her and she will definitely appreciate it. You could buy a plain white photo frame and fill it with pictures of you and your family, put together a 'favourite things' hamper filled with her fave chocolates, wine, a nail polish, fuzzy socks, whatever. I saw a really cute DIY on Pinterest where you shape a piece of clay into a heart and then press your finger into it to leave your fingerprint marked on it, and attach it to a keyring when it's dry. Mothers love that sort of thing.

What will you be gifting your mother this year?
