How To Maintain Your Summer Glow

Hey Guys!

So the weather has officially turned from warm and sunny (well it has for people who live in a country with actual seasons) to crisp and cool, meaning our summer glow, whether real or not is beginning to fade. I thought I'd put a few tips together to help you maintain that summer tan for as long as possible.


Water: Pretty obvious, but your skin will glow and look healthier when you're properly hydrated. I have noticed on the days I don't drink enough water (try drink 2 litres a day) that my skin looks a little dull and feels tight. Drink up!

Moisturise: I can't stress this enough, you can never moisturise too much! I moisturise my whole body really well every single night, regardless of whether I've been out and am only home at 4am ;) I love using aloe vera, especially this one as they are completely natural and have no scents which can irritate skin. I've been moisturising every day for the last few years and it all pays off when people ask you if you're wearing fake tan nearly a year after you've been on holidays.

Exfoliation: You might think that exfoliating would essentially rub your tan off, but a nice gentle scrub every now and then is important to get rid of dead skin cells that can make your skin look dull and dry. Try to use a natural scrub such as brown sugar and olive oil or a simple coffee one.

So those are my top three tips on maintaining that summer glow well into fall/ winter time!
